Introduction
These crispy potato wedges are perfectly seasoned and cooked in the air fryer for a golden, crunchy outside and soft inside. Made with simple spices like Paprika and Garlic powder, they’re a healthier alternative to deep-fried potatoes.
Ingredients
4 medium Potato
2 tablespoons Olive oil
1 teaspoon Paprika
½ teaspoon Garlic powder
½ teaspoon Onion powder
½ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon black pepper
Optional Additions
½ teaspoon chili powder for heat
½ teaspoon dried oregano or Italian seasoning
2 tablespoons grated parmesan cheese
Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Prepare the Potatoes
Wash and scrub the potatoes well. Cut each potato into 6–8 wedges. - Soak (Optional but Recommended)
Place the wedges in cold water for 15–20 minutes to remove excess starch. Drain and pat completely dry. - Season the Wedges
In a large bowl, toss the potatoes with olive oil, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper until evenly coated. - Preheat the Air Fryer
Preheat your air fryer to 200°C (400°F) for about 3 minutes. - Air Fry
Place the wedges in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Cook for 15–18 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through cooking. - Serve
Remove when golden and crispy. Garnish with parsley or parmesan if desired.
