Ingredients
Chicken
1 lb boneless, skinless Chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
2 tablespoons Olive oil
Salt and Black pepper, to taste
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
Pasta
12 oz Linguine
Water and salt for boiling
Alfredo Sauce
3 tablespoons Butter
4 cloves Garlic, minced
1½ cups Heavy cream
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
½ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon black pepper
2 tablespoons chopped parsley (for garnish)
Optional Additions
½ cup mushrooms, sliced
1 cup broccoli florets
½ teaspoon chili flakes for a little heat
Extra parmesan for serving
Instructions
- Cook the Pasta
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the linguine according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside. - Season the Chicken
Season the chicken pieces with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. - Cook the Chicken
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Cook the chicken for 6–7 minutes until golden and fully cooked. Remove from the pan and set aside. - Make the Garlic Butter Base
In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant. - Prepare the Alfredo Sauce
Pour in the heavy cream and simmer for 3–4 minutes. Stir in the grated parmesan cheese and mix until the sauce becomes smooth and creamy. - Combine Everything
Add the cooked chicken and linguine to the skillet. Toss well so the pasta is coated with the Alfredo sauce. - Garnish and Serve
Sprinkle with parsley and extra parmesan before serving.
Tips for Success
Use freshly grated parmesan for the smoothest sauce.
Reserve a little pasta water to thin the sauce if needed.
Cook pasta just until al dente so it doesn’t become mushy.
