Rustic No-Knead Rosemary Garlic Bread

🍞 Rustic No-Knead Rosemary Garlic Bread
Ingredients:
3 cups all-purpose flour
3 cloves garlic, minced
1½ cups warm water
2 tsp fresh rosemary, chopped (or 1 tsp dried)
1 tsp salt
½ tsp instant yeast
1 tbsp olive oil (optional, for extra flavor)
Instructions:

  1. Mix the dough
In a large bowl, combine flour, yeast, salt, rosemary, and garlic.
Add warm water and mix with a spoon until a sticky dough forms. No kneading needed!
  2. Let it rise
Cover the bowl with plastic wrap or a towel.
Let it sit at room temperature for 12–18 hours (overnight is perfect).
The dough should become bubbly and doubled in size.
  3. Shape the dough
Lightly flour a surface and your hands.
Gently turn out the dough and fold it over itself a few times (don’t knead).
    Shape into a rough ball.
  4. Second rest
Place on parchment paper, cover, and let rest for 30–45 minutes.
  5. Preheat
Place a Dutch oven (or heavy pot with lid) in the oven and preheat to 230°C (450°F).
  6. Bake
Carefully place the dough (with parchment) into the hot pot.
Cover and bake for 30 minutes, then uncover and bake another 10–15 minutes until golden brown.
  7. Cool
Let it cool on a rack before slicing (this keeps it from getting gummy inside).
