Juicy Restaurant-Style Chicken with Garlic Herb Sauce
🛒 Ingredients
For the chicken:
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (or thighs)
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 tablespoon butter
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon garlic powder
½ teaspoon onion powder
½ teaspoon dried thyme (or Italian seasoning)
For the garlic herb sauce:
3 tablespoons butter
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup chicken broth
½ cup heavy cream
½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
1 teaspoon lemon juice
1 teaspoon dried parsley (or fresh)
Salt & pepper to taste

- Season & Sear the Chicken
Pat chicken dry and season both sides with salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, and thyme.
Heat olive oil and butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Sear chicken for 5–6 minutes per side until golden and cooked through.
Remove from pan and set aside. - Make the Sauce
In the same pan, melt butter and sauté garlic for about 30 seconds (don’t burn it).
Pour in chicken broth and scrape up all the flavorful bits from the pan.
Stir in heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, and Dijon mustard.
Simmer for 3–5 minutes until slightly thickened. - Finish the Dish
Add lemon juice and parsley.
Return chicken to the pan and spoon sauce over it.
Let simmer for 2–3 minutes so the chicken absorbs all that flavor.
