Fresh Avocado, Cherry Tomato & Mozzarella Caprese Platter
With Sweet Balsamic Drizzle
Fresh, colorful, creamy, and bursting with flavor — this beautiful platter is perfect for entertaining or a light summer meal.
🛒 Ingredients
2 cups cherry tomatoes (red and yellow), halved
1–2 medium tomatoes, sliced (optional)
8 oz fresh mozzarella balls (bocconcini), drained
2 ripe avocados, sliced
2 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp balsamic glaze
1 tbsp fresh basil, chopped (or parsley)
1/2 tsp Italian seasoning
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
Pinch red pepper flakes (optional)
Warm crusty bread or crackers (for serving, optional)
👩‍🍳 Instructions
1️⃣ Prepare the Ingredients
Halve the cherry tomatoes.
Slice the avocados just before assembling to keep them fresh.
Drain mozzarella well and pat dry gently.
2️⃣ Arrange the Platter
On a large serving plate:
Scatter cherry tomatoes evenly.
Add sliced tomatoes if using.
Tuck in mozzarella balls.
Arrange avocado slices around the platter.
Make it rustic and natural — no need to be perfect!
3️⃣ Season & Dress
Drizzle olive oil evenly over everything.
Sprinkle with salt, black pepper, and Italian seasoning.
Add red pepper flakes if you like a little heat.
Finish with a light drizzle of balsamic glaze.
4️⃣ Garnish & Serve
Sprinkle fresh basil on top.
Serve immediately with warm crusty bread or crackers.
