Slow Cooker Onion Potatoes
✅ Ingredients
6–8 medium potatoes, sliced (Yukon gold or russet)
1 large onion, thinly sliced
3 tbsp butter, melted
2 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp garlic powder
½ tsp paprika
½ tsp dried thyme (optional)
Salt and black pepper, to taste
½ cup chicken broth (or vegetable broth)

- Prep ingredients
Slice potatoes evenly (about ½ cm thick).
Slice onions thinly. - Layer in slow cooker
Lightly grease the slow cooker.
Add a layer of potatoes, then onions.
Sprinkle with salt, pepper, and spices.
Repeat layers until everything is used. - Add liquids
Mix melted butter and olive oil, then pour over potatoes.
Pour in broth. - Cook
Cover and cook:
LOW: 5–6 hours
HIGH: 2.5–3 hours
Potatoes should be tender when pierced with a fork. - Finish & serve
Gently stir before serving.
