Sweet & Sour Baked Beef Meatballs (Easy 4–5 Ingredients)
🧾 Ingredients
500g ground beef
½ cup breadcrumbs
1 egg
1 cup sweet & sour sauce (store-bought or homemade)
1 cup pineapple chunks (drained, optional but highly recommended)
1 bell pepper, chopped (optional for color & flavor)
👨🍳 Instructions
- Make the meatballs
In a bowl, mix ground beef, breadcrumbs, and egg.
Season lightly with salt and pepper if you like.
Roll into small meatballs. - Assemble
Place raw meatballs into a glass baking dish in a single layer.
Add pineapple chunks and bell pepper around them.
Pour sweet & sour sauce evenly over everything. - Bake
Cover with foil and bake at 180°C (350°F) for 25 minutes.
Remove foil and bake another 10–15 minutes until cooked through and slightly caramelized. - Finish
Spoon sauce over the meatballs before serving.
🍽️ Serve
Best with white rice, noodles, or even mashed potatoes.

💡 Tips
Don’t overcrowd the dish—space helps even cooking.
If sauce is too thin, bake uncovered longer to thicken.
You can swap beef for chicken or turkey.
