✅Crock Pot Potatoes and Onions
Prep Time: 15 minutes
Cook Time: 6-7 hours (LOW) or 3-4 hours (HIGH)
Servings: Serves 6
Ingredients:
- 6 medium potatoes, thinly sliced (about 2 lbs)
- 2 medium onions, thinly sliced
- 4 tablespoons butter, cut into small pieces
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 cup chicken or vegetable broth
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese (optional)
Instructions:
- Grease the inside of your crock pot with non-stick spray or a little oil.
- Place a layer of sliced potatoes on the bottom of the crock pot.
- Top with a layer of sliced onions.
- Sprinkle with a little salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
- Dot with a few pieces of butter.
- Repeat the layers until all potatoes, onions, butter, and seasonings are used.
- Pour the broth evenly over the top.
- Cover and cook on LOW for 6-7 hours or on HIGH for 3-4 hours, until potatoes are tender.
- If using cheese, sprinkle it over the top during the last 15-20 minutes of cooking.
- Serve warm directly from the crock pot.
