Lemon Cream Cheese Tart
Ingredients
Crust
1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs or crushed biscuits
1/3 cup melted butter
2 tbsp sugar
Filling
8 oz cream cheese, softened
1 can sweetened condensed milk
1/3 cup fresh lemon juice
1 tbsp lemon zest
1 tsp vanilla extract
Optional Topping
Whipped cream
Lemon slices or zest
Powdered sugar
Instructions
Prepare the Crust
Mix graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and sugar in a bowl.
Press firmly into the bottom and sides of a tart pan or pie dish.
Bake the Crust
Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 8–10 minutes.
Let cool completely.
Make the Filling
In a large bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth.
Add sweetened condensed milk, lemon juice, lemon zest, and vanilla. Mix until creamy.
Fill the Tart
Pour filling into the cooled crust and smooth the top.
Chill
Refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or until firm.
Serve
Top with whipped cream and extra lemon zest before slicing.
