Creamy Garlic Butter Shrimp Skillet

Ingredients
1 lb (450 g) large shrimp, peeled and deveined
2 tablespoons butter
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 cup heavy cream
½ cup chicken broth
½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 teaspoon paprika
½ teaspoon Italian seasoning
Salt and black pepper, to taste
1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
1 tablespoon lemon juice

Instructions
Step 1: Season the Shrimp
Pat shrimp dry and season with paprika, salt, and black pepper.
Step 2: Sear the Shrimp
Heat olive oil and 1 tablespoon butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Add shrimp and cook 1–2 minutes per side until pink.
Remove from skillet and set aside.
Step 3: Make the Garlic Butter Sauce
Lower heat to medium.
Add remaining butter and minced garlic.
Sauté for about 30–60 seconds until fragrant.
Step 4: Build the Cream Sauce
Pour in chicken broth and scrape up browned bits.
Stir in heavy cream and Italian seasoning.
Simmer for 3–4 minutes until slightly thickened.
Step 5: Add Parmesan
Slowly whisk in Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
Step 6: Finish the Dish
Return shrimp to the skillet.
Stir in lemon juice and parsley.
Simmer 1–2 minutes until heated through.
