🛒 Ingredients
For the Ribs
2–3 lbs pork ribs (baby back or spare ribs)
Salt and black pepper, to taste
2 tbsp olive oil
For the Honey Garlic Sauce
1/2 cup honey
1/3 cup soy sauce
4 cloves garlic, minced
2 tablespoons ketchup
1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar (or lemon juice)
1 tablespoon brown sugar (optional for extra richness)
1 teaspoon cornstarch + 1 tablespoon water (for thickening)
👩‍🍳 Instructions
1️⃣ Prep the Ribs
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
Remove membrane from the back of ribs (for tenderness).
Pat dry and season generously with salt and black pepper.
Brush with olive oil.
2️⃣ Bake Until Tender
Wrap ribs tightly in foil and place on a baking sheet.
Bake for 2 to 2½ hours until fork-tender.
3️⃣ Make the Sauce
In a saucepan, combine honey, soy sauce, garlic, ketchup, vinegar, and brown sugar.
Bring to a gentle simmer for 3–5 minutes.
Stir in cornstarch slurry and cook until thick and glossy.
4️⃣ Glaze & Caramelize
Remove ribs from foil and brush generously with sauce.
Return to oven uncovered and bake 15–20 minutes more.
For extra sticky edges, broil 3–5 minutes (watch carefully!).
5️⃣ Rest & Serve
Let ribs rest 5–10 minutes.
Slice between bones and brush with extra sauce.
🔥 Optional Grill Finish
After baking, place ribs on a hot grill for 5–7 minutes per side, brushing with sauce for smoky flavor.
