Slow Cooker 4-Ingredient Potato & Onion
📝 Ingredients:
4–5 large potatoes, peeled and thinly sliced
1 large onion, thinly sliced
2 tablespoons butter (or margarine)
1–1½ cups broth (chicken or vegetable)

Prep the Ingredients
Slice the potatoes and onion thinly for even cooking.
Layer in the Slow Cooker
Lightly grease the slow cooker.
Add a layer of potatoes, then onions, then a few small pieces of butter.
Repeat layers until everything is used.
Add Liquid
Pour the broth evenly over the layers.
Cook
Cover and cook:
Low: 6–7 hours
High: 3–4 hours
Until the potatoes are tender and infused with flavor.
Serve
Gently stir before serving or keep in layers for a rustic look. Spoon some of the savory broth over the top.
🍽️ Tips & Variations:
Add salt and pepper if you like (not counted in the 4 ingredients).
For a richer taste, swap part of the broth with milk.
