Beef & Mushroom Crescent Cups
📝 Ingredients:
1 can refrigerated crescent roll dough
250 g ground beef
1 cup mushrooms, finely chopped
½ small onion, finely chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
100 g cream cheese, softened
½ cup shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
½ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon black pepper
½ teaspoon dried thyme (optional)
👩🍳 Instructions:
Preheat Oven
Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F). Lightly grease a muffin tin.
Cook the Filling
In a skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef until browned.
Add onion, mushrooms, and garlic. Cook until softened and most moisture is gone.
Drain excess fat if needed.
Make It Creamy
Lower heat and stir in cream cheese until melted and well combined.
Add Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, and thyme. Mix well.
Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
Prepare Dough Cups
Unroll crescent dough and separate into triangles.
Press each triangle into muffin cups, shaping them into little shells.
Fill & Top
Spoon the beef and mushroom mixture into each cup.
Sprinkle shredded cheese on top.
Bake
Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until the dough is golden brown and cooked through.
Serve
Let cool for a few minutes, then remove from the tin and serve warm.
🍽️ Tips:
Add a pinch of paprika or chili flakes for a little kick.
Swap beef for ground chicken or turkey if preferred.
These are great as appetizers or a quick dinner with a salad.
